  3. Bottom Line Software, Inc. has been publishing financial shareware since
  4. 1984.
  5.  
  6. This ZIP file contains our shareware product "LOAN MASTER - LOAN
  7. ACCOUNTING SYSTEM".
  8.  
  9. It product is a bank-like loan accounting system. It is used by
  10. retailers, funeral homes, small loan companies, various types investors,
  11. auto dealers, and some individuals to keep accounting records and to
  12. print past due notices and statements for loans.
  13.  
  14. This is not an amortization program. It is an accounting system. It does
  15. not print amortization schedules. If you need amortization schedules,
  16. see our product PCLOAN5.

  18. INSTALLATION:
  19.  
  20. All files should be copied to the same directory...
  21.  
  22. Only these files are required for operation:
  23.  
  24. LMHELP   DBF    On screen help system data file
  25. LMHELP   DBT    On screen help system screens
  26. LMLOAN   DBF    Blank loan data file
  27. LMMENU   EXE    LOAN MASTER program file
  28. LMPARM   DBF    System parameter file. Stores system setup information.
  29. LMTRAN   DBF    Loan transaction data file

  31. The system will generate several other files as needed.

  33. PRINTING THE MANUAL:
  34.  
  35. The manual is an ascii text file named lm140sw.txt. It is more than 80
  36. characters in width. To print it you must set your printer to print
  37. condensed print.
  38.  
  39. LASER PRINTERS:
  40.  
  41. Laser printers MUST be set to print 66 lines per page. They normally are
  42. set to print 60 lines per page. This setting can be changed from the
  43. front panel. See your manual for details. (Condensed print is font 9 in
  44. the HP LaserJet Series II.)
